Friday Five – FOR THE LOVE of Jen Hatmaker Quotes

I’m linking up again on this fine Friday with Mrs. Disciple and a few others (click on the cute little froggy below) from the For the Love book launch team with five of my favorite quotes from Jen Hatmakers new book, For the Love: Fighting for Grace in a World of Impossible Standards.

FRIDAY 5 HEADER

FTL officially releases in a few short days, AUGUST 18TH!!, but if you look hard enough, you might find it on a shelf at your local Barnes & Noble already. B&N got a little excited about it too and jumped the release date to stock a few copies early. Naturally I had to go see it, touch it, smell it, open the cover …. and see my name in it!! What?!?! I don’t even know how all this happened but it did and I’m blown away by it.

For launch promotion purposes, I, and the other 499 launch team members, got an early copy from the publisher. As I began reading it my highlighter immediately got busy. I could list five favorite quotes just from the introduction! It was SO hard to choose only five. This should have been called Friday Fifty!

(Click on one of these images to view in a larger format in the gallery.)

All of these photo quotes and more will be posted on the EPFH Facebook page. Go check them and out and share share share!

You can order or buy your copy of For the Love from Barnes & Noble or Amazon now. Official release date is August 18th but if you’re in a hurry, don’t fret, as I mentioned above, Barnes & Noble was too and you can probably find a copy on their shelves now.

For more fun information and videos about the book, check out the book’s website.

Once you get your copy (You are getting one, right??) get out your favorite color pen and a highlighter because you’ll be using them a lot!

Be ready for the FOR THE LOVE blast on the interwebs coming to a computer screen near you on August 18th! Facebook, blogs, Instagram and Twitter will be buzzin’. I will also be writing a formal book review along with a few other writers on HollywoodJesus.com. Being a part of this launch team has been a phenomenon and I expect the actual launch of the book itself will be phenomenally epic!

For the love of grace,
~Andrea

  1. What happens when I like the five you picked more than I like mine? Oh, the difficulty of picking just FIVE, for the love!!

    • I know!! That’s the beauty of the link up! So far I haven’t seen one repeat in all of our posts. I’m a bit surprised but not surprised at the same time.

    • I thought the same thing. I haven’t seen very many duplications at all. I love the uniqueness of how her words speak to us in different ways.

  5. Love the quote about getting into people’s “pits” with them! That is the gritty and necessary stuff of friendship. 🙂 Also, I love your B&N pic. You are precious, fellow FTL friend!

    • Back at you! What a ride this launch team business has been! I’ve so needed friends in my pit with me so that quote was particularly and personally meaningful. Thanks for popping over to EPFH!
