I believe in the power of prayer. I believe that prayer works and I couldn’t be convinced otherwise. I know several people who are praying for me right now. Either because I asked them to or just because they’re good to me like that. They are praying over me to have hope, to have peace, to sustain, to allow God to continue writing my story. I am praying for them too.
Who comes to mind as you read this? Is there someone you know who could use some prayers about now? Pray this Psalm over them by inserting their name and changing the pronouns as appropriate. Pray this over yourself. Send this link to someone and ask them to pray it over you. Sure, we can do hard things but we can do them better together.
Psalm 3
Lord, how many are my (________’s) foes!
How many rise up against me (her/him)!
Many are saying of me (_________),
“God will not deliver me (her/him).”
But you, Lord, are a shield around me (_________),
my (her/him) glory, the One who lifts my (her/him) head high.
I (She/He) call(s) out to the Lord,
